Comments on: WordPress Flickr Manager plugin v1.1

This is a great plugin but I can’t get it to do one thing (maybe it doesn’t!). When I upload a photo I want to be able to add it to an existing gallery (set) or indeed create a gallery (set) and add it to that. How do I do this?

Hi Trent, it installed perfectly and seems to be working. However, I’m not able to set different sizes for lightbox. I see the dropdown but it doesn’t seem to have an effect. Suggestions? Thanks … Koset

Version 1.1 is extremely deprecated, try using a more up to date version from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-flickr-manager/

I downloaded this to try out and managed to authenticate, etc. When I went to edit post,I get to the manage post page and then when I pick a post to edit, all I got was a blank screen and nothing else will load. I had to delete the plugin in to make the post show up again.

I am on IE7.

Thanks, I will give the new version a try and let you know. I guess I should have mentioned my platform – I’m using the latest version of Firefox on a Mac.

OK well good news, I've managed to duplicate your problem and it seems to be only an issue when using IE. I'm writing another patch with a few more bug fixes today. EDIT: Please see this post as it relates to the issues you've been having. You can download the updated fix from here.

Hi Trent,
I am trying 1.1.2, downloaded from the extend page, and still having the same problem. I thought it might be an incompatibility with another plugin, but I disabled all plugins and still have the problem with WordPress Flickr Manager.

Hi Anna, Which copy did you download? The one off my site? or from the WordPress.org extend page? The extend page is more recent. If you still get the problem let me know with some specifics and I'll try tracking down the error. You can should still be able to still be able to upload, edit and insert images using the 'Manage->Flickr' Page. Barry, Dalton same question. Did you get the copy from my site or the extend page? Edit: I just released a 1.1.2 on the wordpress extend page, in which I've converted all AJAX requests to use the prototype library, that should have fixed any issues you were having.

Mine gets stuck on the loading screen too. I would love to use this plugin too, it looks very promising.
